Glad to have discovered this on another blog and popped over. Reading a wonderful bio of O'Keeffe now and it seems more gritty and true than the sugarcoated stuff I've read so far. However, I still feel the sexualization of her paintings, especially the abstracted flower forms, is off the mark, and was a creation of Stieglitz to garner his new protege much press. But I think Georgia was okay with whatever you were saying about her...as long as you were talking about her :) Thanks so much for sharing this!
